Nepal vs Namibia Cricket Match – Nepal comeback in tri-series after winning a thriller against Namibia Team
On remaining a losing side after two matches in the tri-series on home soil, Nepal came back in a nail-biting game against Namibia in the 4th t20 match of the series between Nepal, Namibia, and the Netherlands. The Netherlands remains on top of the table with two straight wins followed by Nepal now after winning the game. Namibia slips to 3rd place even after performing top-notch in the first match against Nepal.

The match started at Kirtipur when two captains Rohit Paudel and JJ Smits tossed the coin which later won and chose to bowl first. Nepal lost Asif Sheikh in the 2nd over and started slowly until the powerplay was over. The wicket kept falling and with contributions from middle-order batsman Aarif Sheikh, Gulshan Jha, and especially Koushal Malla who struck a fifty over a strike rate of 148. Nepal end the inning with 180-8 in 20 overs. Ben Sikongo and Jack Brussel pick three and two wickets respectively.
In reply, Namibia followed the same batting pattern as Nepal by losing early wickets and steading the middle order with contributions from JP Kotze, Jan Frylink, and skipper JJ Smit who hit the fifty for the team and kept them in the hunt. KC Karan defended the 11 runs of the final over with Zane Green remaining at the other end of the wicket.KC Karan, Sompal Kami, and Dipendra got two wickets each for Nepal.
Kaushal Malla gets Man of the Match for his fifty. Nepal will play against the Netherlands on 2nd March in their last match of the tri-series.
